Thank you for my recent home improvement - exceeded my expectations

I want to take a moment to thank you for your role in my recent home improvement. It has been almost 15 years since I've had work done on my house, and it clearly needs a lot of attention. I chose Nuss Construction largely on the strength of a very professionally done brochure I saw a number of years ago, and I followed this up by reviewing comments on Angie's List. I am very glad that I chose Nuss Construction.

The project involved replacing the soffits, facias, gutters and downspouts. There were far fewer choices to be made than with say a kitchen remodeling, but you explained the options very clearly. The whole decision and estimating process went very smoothly.

I was especially impressed with the quality of work. The 1st crew replaced the soffits and facias and rake boards, and the fit and finish was much better than I was expecting. I have been an amateur furniture maker for the last 50 years, and I look for such things as tight joints in a way most people would not. I was very impressed with how well the different components fit together, and the overall appearance certainly exceeded my expectations.

The 2nd crew installed the gutters and downspouts while I was away on a day trip. When I looked at the work the next day, once again I was impressed with the quality of the work and the overall appearance. Then I realized that thy had hung 5-inch gutters, even though you and I had decided that my house really needed the larger 6-inch gutters. When I brought this to your attention, I honestly thought you would try to make any bargain possible to avoid having to take down the 5-inch gutters. I was very surprised when you stated "You paid to have the job done right, and we're going to replace them". Two days later a crew installed the 6-inch gutters, and once again, everything looks great.

Nuss Construction is probably not the cheapest option, but it is impossible not to be impressed with the skill of the workers, the quality of the workmanship, and the ease with which problems can be corrected. Thank you.

Dear Bob and Tammy,
We recently had new windows put into our house and Matt & Ray were the gentlemen who did the work for us. We need you to know exactly how much we appreciated having such professional respectful and conscientious men working for us and we feel you should be very proud to have them representing the Nuss Company. It is quite obvious that Matt, for as young as he is, has such pride in what he does and such a strong work ethic. I noticed on the Friday he and Ray were here that Matt looke a little under the weather. Whe I asked him if was alright he just shrugged it off and worked the entire day without complaints. He returned to finish the job on Monday and still didn’t look well, but once again he gave 100% effort to see that everything was done in top notch fashion and frankly, that cleaned up better than we would’ve. Thanks to you for hiring such quality employees and thanks to Ray and Matt for a job – very well done!

We absolutely love our bathroom and the entire renovation. It is so inviting, stylish and functional. A week doesn't go by where Melissa doesn't tell me how much she loves her closet. Thanks again to you and your team for a fantastic job.

Thank you for being dependable and always communicating updates regarding the service to my roof. I told all my coworkers and neighbors about Nuss Construction...sometimes word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Though we are sorry that we had to contact Nuss Construction under the circumstances (water damage due to leak behind the wall), we are thrilled to have been able to work with your company. Dave Taylor and we go back 30 years, and he was just as professional and delightful in 2017 as he was in 1987! You have a rare person in Dave! Everybody else who came to our house showed the same courtesy and professionalism to us I wish we had something more "showy" and "glamorous" to showcase your workmanship, but we're just thrilled our damaged room is put back to right. Thank you for being such an easy company to work with!

I want to let you know HOW FANTASTIC CHERYL was with regards to her first phone call contact, the questions Cheryl asked, how well she LISTENED to what we wanted, and then how polite she was on the follow up phone call to confirm my appointment. I can't imagine a better face for your company when people first reach out to Nuss Construction.

Had the first floor bathroom completely redone. From beginning to end my hand was held with design, suggestions, and planning. The actual construction was done by very professional craftsmen who respected my home by treating it as their own. They even enjoyed my dogs.

Bob - On behalf of the members of the fire company, I would like to thank you and your staff for the great reroofing job at our fire station. In particular, we would like to thank you and your staff for the additional work that was done repairing the roof at not additional cost.
