Shore Home (Volume 18, Issue 6)
House and Home was started in 1999 and presently continues to be a highly valued design and renovation resource, focusing on some of the most expensive properties on the market. Their special issue, Shore Home (Volume 18, Issue 6), included a feature on the successful makeover of a stone mansion of about 14,000 square feet in Mount Laurel. Our team worked with Michele Plachter who took care of all interior design.
One of the highlights of this home improvement project was replacing the dark slate tiles that covered about 3,200 square feet throughout the first floor of the home. Switching the tiles out for honed Carrera marble in white had a tremendous effect. As Michele Plachter said herself, “It was a game changer that brought so much light and airiness into the living spaces. It was a major undertaking that was well worth it.”
