Bob has been the leader of Nuss Construction Company for over 50 years.
Bob has been married since 1970 to a girl he met in the seventh grade named Kathleen O’Neill. Bob and Kathleen moved to Shamong, NJ in 1975 where they raised their three daughters. All three of their daughters are married and currently, Bob has four granddaughters and one grandson.
Bob loves helping people, and that is what he loves about his company, it gives him the opportunity to give back to his local communities. He is passionate about people and loves to make a difference big or small in their lives. One of Bob’s greatest passions is coaching girls’ softball. He coached IMAA softball with his daughters’ teams for many years, and then started a travel fast pitch softball team, the Mystics. He traveled with his daughters to many states playing highly competitive ball. After many years of coaching the Mystics, he retired from softball to sit on the board of directors for the Mystics organization. He coached his oldest granddaughter’s softball team. He loves coaching girls and building up their confidence.
He has been a volunteer for most of his life. As of today, Bob is still very active with volunteering in leading introductions for Landmark Education. His love of the outdoors is endless and he would still much rather be out in nature than be inside. Bob loves meeting new people.
Some of the things he has done as a volunteer are: he was a volunteer firefighter in Southampton; coached a boys’ baseball team; was president of Ducks Unlimited; president of a local chapter of NARI; and he was on the Indian Mills Board of Education for five years and president for one year. Bob enjoyed helping renovate the MYAA snack stand, IMAA snack stand and the roof on the TAA building.
At this time, Bob is very involved in mentoring his daughter, Tammy, in the construction business.
